Considering the requests from members and media professionals worldwide, the general assemblies 2005 - 2011 decided to encourage the realisation of formation events such as Refreshers & Exposures. In the past years, following the necessities and decisions, some of these events have been realised combining both refreshers and exposures. From the year 2012, both these events will be combined as much as possible into a one-week study, learning and exposure programme, thus all irrespective of age and geographical origins can participate in these events. This will offer a choice of three or four programmes a year in 2012 and 2103 in different continents, and members and friends from different parts of the world can choose the programme and the continent and country of their choice.

The next International Journalism and Media Awards will be conferred at the world Congress to be held in Panama in the year 2013. Informtaion on award entries will be given soon.
